Google Pixel 3a Mid-Range Android Phone Leaked With Familiar Design Theme

Google Pixel 3a
A high resolution render of Google's upcoming Pixel 3a handset has found its way to the web, and it looks similar to past leaks. It is also a familiar to design to anyone who has ever spied a Pixel device before. That's not shocking, since the Pixel 3a is an iterative upgrade, but it does seem clear that Google is not interested in reinventing the wheel at this point.
Nevertheless, anyone who hoping for a fresh new look will be disappointed. Famed leaker and Twitter user Evan Blass (@evleaks) posted what looks to be an official press render of the Pixel 3a, and it looks like every previous Pixel phone that came before it, save for the Pixel 3 XL, which hast a notch.

The Pixel 3a does not. Instead, it reverts to the traditional bezel at the top and bottom. We can see a speaker grill up top, along with a front-facing camera lens. While Mr. Blass did not share out any specs, rumor has it the PIxel 3a will ship with a 5.6-inch OLED display with a 2220x1080 resolution.

Around back, we see a single camera lens, which is rumored to be a 12-megapixel shooter, along with an LED flash and a fingerprint sensor. The presumed single-camera setup is in line with the phone's mid-range makeup.

To that end, the Pixel 3a is expected to arrive with a Snapdragon 670 or 710 processor (it's possible Google will use both, opting for the 670 in the Pixel 3a and the 710 in the Pixel 3a XL), 4GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage, and a 3,000 mAh battery.

Barring a surprise, Google will formally introduce the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL on May 7.
