"Inheriting the already rich creative spirit of the Reno Series, this latest iteration presents our users with even more creative possibilities, empowering them to discover new perspectives," said Charles Wong, CEO of OPPO India. "Its advanced camera technology performs superbly in a range of environments and scenarios, from vast landscapes to confined alleyways, or sun-kissed beaches to dim, moonless nights."
The four cameras consist of a 48MP main lens, 13MP telephoto lens, 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP mono lens.
The Reno2 features a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a 2400x1080 resolution, and a 93.1 percent screen-to-body ratio, according to Oppo. There are also two other models, the Reno2 Z and Reno 2 F, both with a "slightly smaller 6.5-inch" display, Oppo says, which leads to me believe those the display size is rounded. Or Oppo could be referring to the resolution, as both sport a 2340x1080 res.
The Reno2 will sell for Rs. 36,990 (around $515 in US currency), while the Reno2 Z and Reno2 F will sell for Rs. 29,990 (around $418). it's not clear when these new phones will be available other territories.
